Professional Bio

Lisa DuPree has 20+ years of experience in the health and fitness field as a corporate health and fitness specialist, master trainer, educator, health coach and group exercise instructor.

Lisa holds a Master of Science degree in Exercise Physiology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Biology.  She is a certified Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine, a Wellcoach® certified Wellness Coach, a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach and a Diabetes Prevention Program Lifestyle Coach.

Lisa is an ardent proponent of health education and supporting healthy lifestyle behaviors throughout the lifespan.   After over a decade in corporate wellness and health promotion, she successfully transitioned into academia and has spent the last 15 years at Emory University as a program director and educator in Center for the Study of Human Health growing an undergraduate academic health education program by creating curricula and constructing a framework to deliver educational content to over 1500 students each year.

As a nationally board certified health and wellness coach, she specializes in working with mid-life professionals who have been successful in their careers at the expense of their health and happiness.  The most common issues her clients struggle with are dealing with the effects of chronic stress, being overweight, out of shape and worried about staying on top of their game.  By translating evidence based strategies into highly tailored action plans, the results they see are weight loss, more confidence, greater energy and more pleasure so that they thrive both at work and play.

Lisa is always interested in discussing collaborations and future opportunities.  If you'd like to explore working together, you can send her a message.
